Dining under the stars, enjoying a good salad bar, meat and fish specialties from the charcoal grill: that is Restaurant Brakkeput Mei Mei. This open-air restaurant is situated on a unique location: the porch of a historic eighteenth century plantation house.

The inviting menu, the Caribbean music and the tropical informal ambiance make Brakkeput the ideal location for a memorable evening.


Children are welcome at Brakkeput! They don’t have to sit still and every Sunday evening they can be creative with crayons and coloring pictures under supervision.

Party Facilities
Brakkeput Mei Mei can accommodate small and large groups for parties of all kind: from an informal cocktail party or anniversary to an extensive wedding party. Ample parking space is available.

Like most of the plantation houses on Curaçao, Brakkeput Mei Mei has two big porches, one in front and one in the back. At the side a large open-air party terrace was added, consisting of three levels and a stage with a spectacular covering and a large bar.

The porches are suitable for smaller parties, the open air terrace can accommodate groups from 150 up to 1000 persons. The food & beverage possibilities are countless!

Annual Curacao Jazz Festival at Brakkeput Mei Mei
Landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei is always happy to host the Curaçao Jazz Festival. This event has become well established in the calendars of jazz aficionados everywhere and attracts visitors from many parts of the world.

This year we are particularly pleased to see interesting groups drawing on the region's Afro Caribbean heritage and we know this approach will appeal to many jazz fans both locally and overseas.
